Wonderful Moments Bridal Card

This is a card I made while I was at my retreat this past weekend.  I decided I liked it so well that I would do my Sunday night live showing how to make this card.  It is a very easy card (if you have all the supplies).  Here is my video on how to make it and below that is a list of items used.

Supplies Used:
Country Floral Embossing Folder - Free with $50. Ends March 31, 2019

March 2019 Retreat - Hobby House Hill, Bowie, TX

If you have never been to a crafting retreat you need to do it someday soon.  It is such a nice getaway and I go with a group of ladies that are super fun.  I may not see them again until the next retreat but that is okay, we just play catchup.  I don't go to a lot of retreats maybe only 2-3 a year and sometimes they are Stampin' Up! retreats and sometimes they are just crafting retreats.  The one I was at this weekend was just a crafting retreat.  Some ladies were sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, flower arranging and I was card making.  Here are a few pictures from the weekend.  Can't wait for the next retreat.

Jar Of Love Treat Holder

I saw a post on Pinterest with a cute little container using an older mason jar stamp set that I don't have but I do have the "Jar Of Love" stamp set so with a couple little changes here is my version of it.

Watch my video for instructions on how to make this.  Follow me on my Facebook page.  I do a live video every Sunday night at 8:00 Central Time.  Watch and Share to win free cards.

Here is a list of the supplies used to make this Jar of Love Candy Holder.

I hope you enjoy making these little treat holders.  They go together pretty fast and easy.  I thought it would be a good little treat to put in a little baggie with my business card and give to the bank teller or grocery store checker.  It is also perfect how it is to give to friends and neighbors.

I have a busy week coming up.  I have my card making class Tuesday evening and I am going to a retreat on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  I also enjoy the retreats so much!  I will be posting as much as possible this week with all the cards I will be making.  Hopefully even some scrapbook pages.

Masculine Birthday Cards

I had to come up with a masculine birthday card for a challenge on my upline's Facebook page so here are the two cards I put together.

This card is make with the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set, Garage Gears Thinlets Dies and the Classic Garage 6x6 Designer Series Paper.  I die cut the gears then put them back into the cut out space with a bright back ground.
These items are in our 2019 Occasions Catalog.

I used some of the Classic Garage Designer Paper and also a strip from the Wood Textures Designer Paper.  The stamp set is One Wild Ride.

Let It Ride Card

I knew when I saw this stamp set that it was going to be one of the first ones I got.  I love horses, always have but my 16 year old granddaughter is all about horses.  She has been since she was about 2 years old.  "Let It Ride" stamp set not only has some pretty horse stamps but it has some really good sentiment stamps that go with it.  The card I made has what they call a Joy Fold card.  I found this card on Pinterest.  Cortney Hueston had a video on it so I thank her for that.

Here are the measurements for the card:
Black Cardstock - cut 1 piece at 4 1/4" x 8 1/2"       score at 3"
                              cut 1 piece at 3 x 9                       score at 4 1/2"
Wood Textures Designer Paper - cut 1 piece at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
                                                      cut 2 pieces at 2 7/8" x 4 1/8"
Whisper White Card Stock - cut 2 pieces at 2 7/8" x 4 3/8"

You will be doing your stamping on the 2 pieces of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the horse once on one of the white sheets and once on a scrap piece of paper.  I cut out the horse on the scrap piece of paper and set it over the one on the cardstock before stamping the trees.  That way the trees were not stamped on the horse.

Below is the video on putting everything together.  And below the video is a list of supplies used.

(The 1 3/8" circle punch that I used in the video is retired but we do have the 1 3/8" scalloped circle punch)

Baby Bear Stamp Set #simplestamping

Here are a few more #simplestamping cards I did yesterday.  There is a variety of sentiments you can use with the cute Baby Bear Stamp Set.  The bear stamp is a 3 stamp process.  You stamp the first full cover stamp with the lighter color, the second with the medium color and the third with the darkest color. The Stamparatus really comes in handy for this stamp set.  Below is a video showing how to stamp the bear using the Stamparatus.

Here are the Stampin' Pad colors I used for each card.
On the yellow "hello baby..." card I used Pineapple Punch, Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight
On the blue "something for baby" card I used Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Bermuda Bay
And on the purple "welcome to the world" card I used Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Blackberry Bliss.

#SimpleStamping

I love going back to the basics of simple stamping.  You have to get creative on how to decorate your card without the help of designer paper, embellishments, die cuts or embossing folders.  It is perfect if you are just starting out and don't have all the other items in your stock pile yet.  You don't need everything else.  You can make beautiful cards without them.
Here are a couple of cards I made last night using the Hold On To Hope Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!.
Happy Stamping Everyone!!

Here is a card I really had fun with.  My daughter had said that the stamp set "Tea Together" reminded her of Beauty and The Beast so I had to make a card for her with Mrs. Potts and Chip.  Here is my end result.  Definitely not perfect but fun.

First off and foremost, prayers for all the people who were affected by the tornado that ran through Alabama yesterday.
Secondly, I have a high respect for everyone who lives up north and endures the freezing below 0 temperatures.  I live in Texas and this morning it was 18 degrees and it felt like 5 degrees with the wind.  I'm not used to this cold and I don't think I could ever get used to it.  I feel very blessed this morning that I don't have to work out in that cold.  I take care of my 3 year old grandson and you can bet that we are going to stay inside and warm today.

My live video last night was using the Tea Together Stamp Set and Framelits along with the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The colors I used were Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green.

Here is the card I made.

I inked up the smoother side of the embossing folder, placed my white card stock inside it then ran it through the Big Shot.  That put the ink on the background and left the pop up flowers white.

I had a little trouble with my live video at the beginning (I am still new to this), my video was coming up sideways.  It had also done that the week before.  I had to stop the video, delete it and start again.  That is why I am asking at the beginning if everything is good.

Listed under the video are all the items used.  They are linked to my Stampin' Up! pages for easy ordering.  Please note some of the items are only available until March 31, 2019.

This stamp set is in our 2019 Occasions Catalog which expires March 31, 2019

These framelits are free with $100 order until March 31st, 2019

This embossing folder is free with $50 order until March 31, 2019
