Zany Zebra Fun Fold Cards

 The holiday season has been wandering how fast time can actually fly.  Before we know it, 2021 will be here.  I have got to get busy and get my Christmas cards out before Christmas is past.  But for now we are going to switch up a little bit and make some cute zany zebra cards.  This stamp set has been out for a while but I just now bought it and I am loving it.  These little zebras are so cheerful in these trying times.

Granny Apple Green Cardstock - 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" - Fold in half, make a little pencil mark 3" from left top corner on top fold, then from same left top corner measure and mark 2" down on left side.  With a ruler make a score line from connecting each mark made.  Do the same on the back.  ( You will be doing it on the right side so that score marks line up together).  This is the corner that will fold inside the card.  You will measure each layer in the same fashion.

Night of Navy Cardstock - Cut 2 - 4' x 5 1/4" - measure 3" and 2" and cut off piece diagonally.

Poinsettia Petals Cards

Well, Halloween is over and the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are right around the corner.  It will be 2021 before we know it.  Let us hope it is a better year!  

My cards for this past Sunday night Facebook Live were made using the Poinsettia Petals Bundle from Stampin' Up!.  I love the dies to this set because you can emboss as you cut.  You can watch my live HERE and you can catch my Facebook Lives every Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. Central Time at Delightful Fun by Diana Sanchez

Purple Posy Cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" fold in half for card base

Early Espresso - 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"

Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4" x 4"

Scraps of Purple Posy and Whisper White Cardstock

I die cut/embossed each of the 3 sizes of petals in Purple Posy and using a sponge dauber, put some Purple Posy ink on the edges and on top of the petals themselves.  I die cut 3 of the berry sprays using Whisper White Cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White using Early Espresso ink and used the Tailored Tag Punch to punch it out.  I also punched a tag in Purple Posy and cut it in half length wise.  I attached one half on top and one half on the bottom of the sentiment to give it the layered look.  I added 3 of the Pearl Basic Jewels and a bow using the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon

Real Red Cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" fold in half for card base and

3 1/4" x 4 1/2" for matte

Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper - 5 1/4" x 4"

Whisper White Cardstock - 3 1/8" x 4 3/8"

Scraps of Old Olive Cardstock for leaves and Red Foil for the petals.

I stamped the Whisper White cardstock with the berry sprays in Old Olive ink and colored in the berries with Lt. Real Red Stampin' Blend marker.  The sentiment is stamped in Real Red ink and I added some Pearl Basic Jewels and Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Silver Foil Paper - 5 1/4" x 4" and 3 3/4" x 7/8"

Night of Navy Cardstock - 5" x 3 3/4" Emboss this using the Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder

Cut out 2 of the flowers from the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper and layer them offset from each other.  Cut/Emboss 2 leaves and a berry ring (for middle of flower) from Silver Foil paper.  Sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy and some Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes were added.

 I always love having a White Christmas.  Unfortunately it doesn't happen very often living in Texas but that is okay, when we do get to see a couple of snow flakes it is extra special.  A couple of the cards I did last night on my Sunday Night Facebook Live have snow scenes from the Snow Front Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!  There are 17 stamps in this stamp set.  Plenty of different options for you to come up with your own scenery.  I also used stamps from the Winter Woods Stamp Set, the Rustic Retreat Stamp Set and the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set.

Cherry Cobbler Cardstock - 5 1/4" x 2 1/8" and score at 1/2" on all sides (this makes the box part that holds the candy)
