Special Someone Card

It has been a while since I got any of my cards posted here on my blog.  Hopefully, I can get back to my weekly routine.

I do Facebook lives every Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. Central Time.  You can go to my page "Delightful Fun" and check it out.  I usually post my videos but since I didn't give all the measurement on the video for this card, I am just going to post them instead.

The stamp set used was Stampin' Up!'s Special Someone and the Designer Paper was Birthday Bonanza.

Card Base - Cut Bermuda Bay to 4 1/4" x 11" then fold in half

Front of Card - Cut Mango Melody to 5 1/4" x 4"
                         Cut the Designer Paper to 5" x 3 3/4"
                         Cut Terracotta Tile to 1 1/4" x 5 1/4"
                         Cut Whisper White to 1" x 5"

Inside of Card - Cut 2 pieces of Designer Paper to 5 1/4" x 4"
                          Cut Terracotta Tile to 1 3/8" x 11" and score at 2 3/4, 5 1/2 and 8 1/4
                          Cut 2 pieces of Mango Melody to 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
                          Cut 2 pieces of Bermuda Bay to 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
                          Cut 4 pieces of Whisper White to 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"

Back of Card - Cut Whisper White to 5 1/4" x 4"

Inks used on flowers in front and balloons in back - Bermuda Bay, Terracotta Tile and Mango Melody.
I stamped the raccoon in Early Espresso then used Sahara Sand for the color in stamp.
I stamped the Squirrel in Soft Suede then used Sahara Sand for the color in stamp.
I stamped the mouse in Memento Black then used Smokey Slate for the color in stamp.
All the sentiments were stamped in Memento Black.

Steps on putting the inside of the card together after stamping everything.
1.  Attach the 2 pieces of Designer Paper to the base of the card.
2.  Lay your 1 3/8" x 11" Terracotta Tile card stock outside of the card.  You want to attached the layered squares between the score lines.  Be sure to only attach where the squares meet the 11" strip.
3.  You can attach the strip towards the top, bottom or middle of the card.  I attached mine in the middle.
4.  You will attach only the first picture and the last picture.  You do not want to put any tape or glue on the middle two.
5.  DO NOT ATTACH RIGHT AT THE EDGE OF THE CARD.  Move in about 1/8" from the edge of the card to attach both the first and the last picture/square.  You do not want the 2 middle ones to lay flat.  The will be raised up some in the middle so that when the card is closed, they will fold up with the card.

If this is confusing you can look for my February 23, 2020 video on my Facebook page "Delightful Fun".
